I started with photography back in the good old film days with a Nikon 501. Thoroughly enjoyed it until somebody else decided that they liked my camera.

Then followed a few years without an eyepiece constantly on my eye, which was a fabulous experience, as I discovered how different you look at places when you are not worried about quality/direction of light/foreground/background etc etc.

Then, I had a Sony F-828 which I did no use too seriously – but what a great camera it was! I started again a couple of years ago with the birth of my first daughter. Now, with the second daughter I found myself compelled to upgrade to a Nikon D300 which I am still enjoying now.

In terms of subjects I am happy shooting anything, although I have a particular penchant for sunsets/rises. Love the colours! But I shoot anything I can. Whether good or not, you be the judge of that!
